Do you want to play a part in combatting crime and anti-social behaviour in Sheffield?
We presently have one vacancy for an Information and Research Officer within the Council’s Community Safety Team. The successful applicant will work alongside partners to:
- Provide a point of contact for council teams and external agencies for sharing information to address crime and keep people safe.
- Ensure accurate statistics and data are collated for performance monitoring purposes and that information is collated and shared appropriately with the relevant services and stakeholders.
- Provide efficient and effective service and administrative support to colleagues and partners.
The role requires a collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, good IT skills and a commitment to public service.

Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We are open to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities which benefit you and the Council, including reduced hour contracts, working part time or as a job share.
