**Care Home Lifestyle Co-Ordinator **(no qualification necessary, but transferrable life skills essential)

**20 hours per week, worked over a three week rota pattern, including working one weekend shift in three**

An exciting new role has been created to support the wellbeing of our lovely Residents through the provision of person-centred activity and engagement, to enable them to maintain their independence.

**What you’ll do**
- Identify and respond to the needs of all Residents through assessment, subsequent individual activity planning and ongoing review.
- Promote, oversea and lead on providing person-centred activities in liaison with Residents’ family members.
- Establish relationships with local groups and encourage their involvement and input into our Home. This may include schools, religious and voluntary groups.
- Promote a positive image of our Home by maintaining a professional approach and appearance at all times and by highlighting community awareness of our Home and our services. This will include the use of social media platforms.

**About you**
- No qualification necessary, but transferrable life skills essential.
- Able to identify the needs of older people with a compassionate and person-centred approach.
- Able to plan and organise workloads to ensure activities and events are carried out promptly.
- Able to complete records accurately and timely.
- Able to communicate effectively with residents, their families and friends, as well as colleagues.
- Experience within a similar role or care home setting.
- Experience and understanding of GDPR legislation.
