Consumer Credit Lawyer

TSR Legal are excited to be working with a consumer driven solicitors firm dealing with financial mis-selling claims. We are looking to recruit a Solicitor to join an established team dealing with claims connection with undisclosed commissions relating tocredit agreements.

**Key responsibilities**:
A technically strong litigation solicitor of around 2-4 years PQE working within Civil Litigation;
- Dealing with secret commissions claims from inception to completion
- Reviewing documents
- Calculating claim values
- Drafting court documents and letters
- Preparing witness statements
- Instructing experts
- Negotiating settlement
- Advising client of settlement offers
- Dealing with interim hearings

**Key skills**:

- Experience in financial mis-selling an advantage
- Experience in managing junior members of staff
- An understanding of civil procedure rules through litigation experience
- Attention to detail and communication skills
- Effective time management
- Driven, articulate and looking to develop a legal career
- Proclaim experience is desirable but not essential

This is a full-time, permanent position Monday - Friday, office based in Swansea. Permanent position.

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
