**Basic Salary: Consultant scale - £96,963 - £128,841 pa**

The BGH is situated 30 miles south of Edinburgh in a very picturesque location with access to world famous mountain biking, lovely coast line and hill walking to cater to all levels of fitness and interest. It has Train access to Scotland’s capital and could be considered as a commuter post, though I would suggest living locally to enjoy all the benefits supplied by the local area.

The hospital sees over 32,000 patients a year. It has 330 inpatient beds with access to General medicine, cardiology, respiratory, neurology, gastroenterology, Obs and Gyn, orthopaedics Paediatrics, General surgery and urology, ENT, ophthalmology and Dermatology. We are a Trauma Unit feeding into the Major Trauma Centre located in ERI.
