**About the role**:
This is an exciting opportunity to work on the Health and Wellbeing survey (also known as the Adult Psychiatric Morbidity Survey), principally using measures of psychiatric symptoms among adults referred to specialist adult eating disorder services. However, you may be at times contributing to another part of the survey, using measures of psychiatric symptoms among adults living in private households throughout England. You will additionally be leading on data cleaning of the research data, data analysis, and writing the research report and corresponding scientific journal article, under the supervision of the senior research team. The research project, conducted with Principal Investigators Samuel Tromans (Associate Professor of Psychiatry, University of Leicester) and Zoe Morgan (Research Associate, University of Leicester), as well as Director of Research Traolach Brugha (Professor of Psychiatry, University of Leicester), is a partnership with the National Centre for Social Research (NatCen), the UK’s largest independent social research organisation. The National Study of Health and Wellbeing is a national survey of mental health, physical health, and wellbeing. The primary aim of the survey is to monitor trends in mental health, physical health and wellbeing within England.
The post is available at Leicester, East Midlands. Survey interviews will be undertaken in respondent’s homes, as well as clinical settings in England, starting in February 2023 (after undertaking training in January 2023, provided by the University of Leicester).
**About you**:
The survey interviews will be conducted in English.
You must be available for four weeks, full time extensive training in Leicester in the use of the survey instruments from 23 January 2023.
