**Please not that this vacancy is for Advancing Quality Alliance (Aqua) and will be based at Crossgate House in Sale and not for Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust in Salford**

We are looking for an articulate and questioning individual with excellent customer focused communication skills to lead the delivery of Aqua’s evaluation, analysis and measurement offer to members and customers. A great opportunity for technical specialists to move into a senior management role and further develop a customer focused approach.

Combining high level senior management experience with complex technical and specialist skills and a passion for improving health and social care services we are seeking someone with the aptitude to manage a diverse programme of work for our members and across our expanding customer base.

**Main duties of the job**:
You will use your specialist, in-depth knowledge and experience to lead Aqua’s analysis and evaluation delivery including:

- business intelligence support to Aqua’s successful Advancing Quality Programme
- our consultancy delivery for analytics and evaluation
- improving the management and use of data internally
- our Measurement for Improvement training and resources
- identifying new opportunities for products and or services

You will achieve this by engaging clinicians, leaders and evaluation partners to develop meaningful, robust and feasible analysis and evaluations for a range of healthcare improvement projects, programmes and interventions.

Providing senior leadership and direction for the team, you will implement systems and processes to ensure best practices in approach and operation deliver high quality outputs to meet customer expectation. This will include leading on disseminating learning; communicating data and findings to a range of audiences through presentations and reports.

- Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline

**Desirable criteria**:

- Post graduate (or working towards) qualification in relevant discipline, with a research/ evaluation/ analysis element

**Experience**:
**Essential criteria**:

- Experience of undertaking data analysis, measurement and evaluation on a range of topics that pull together multiple sources of information to draw evidenced conclusions about quality and performance issues.

**Knowledge**:
**Essential criteria**:

- To have expert specialist knowledge in the field of healthcare information underpinned by theory and experience.
- Knowledge and experience of NHS datasets and Information Governance.

**Desirable criteria**:

- Knowledge of specific evaluation methodologies used in healthcare Quality Improvement, such as Rapid Cycle, Realist Evaluation, Health Economics

**Skills**:
**Essential criteria**:

- Excellent report writing skills with evidence of delivering high impact reporting to a range of audiences

**Desirable criteria**:
