Our PCSOs are armed only with the ability to understand and communicate with their local community.

With an aim to make Cheshire even safer, our uniformed PCSOs support front-line policing. They tackle the issues facing local communities and make a real difference to the way that we live in Cheshire.

Working as part of the Beat Management team, PCSOs inspire confidence on the streets of Cheshire supporting people who live and work in the neighbourhood and they perform one of the most demanding roles in modern day policing.

PCSOs are making a positive difference to their local area, working in friendly teams serving a variety of people from different communities.

In exchange, Cheshire Constabulary can offer an attractive starting salary of **£21,837 plus 14% shift allowance, opportunities for development and progression and, of course, the chance to serve the communities of Cheshire.**

**Qualifications - External**
- Experience of dealing with members of the public in a formal capacity.
- Some experience of problem solving.
