Reporting to the HR Operations Manager, this role will work in close collaboration with the Partners and HR team to help deliver the HR strategy across the UK.

**Overview of Role**:
This is a generalist HR role responsible for providing HR support and advice to the southern regions. The purpose of the role is to:
- Implement and support the delivery of the HR strategy through the delivery of effective HR practices.
- To be the HR expert and coach, supporting and advising your client groups on people policies and procedures.
- To role model and challenge the behaviours of our teams to ensure they are in line with our values.
- Working with the HR Operations Manager, leading on our employee benefits and reward review and implementation of best-in-class approach.
- Provide the best employee experience and customer service excellence in everything we do.
**Key Responsibilities**:
The responsibilities listed below are intended to be a broad but not exhaustive list.
- Working with the generalist HR team, Recruitment team, Future Professional Manager and L&D Manager to provide a joined service across the Company, ensuring that we are an employer of choice.
- Develop a deep understanding of your client groups' practice areas, business plans and on-going objectives and the role HR plays in meetings these objectives.
- Coach and influence our line managers to create high performing teams and help people be the best they can be to support the growth of our business.
- Provide support and advice on a full range of employee relations activities including performance management, absence management, discipline and grievance procedures, flexible working and equal opportunities.
- Manage Occupational Health referrals and Health Insurance claims for Long-Term Sick cases.
- Support the delivery of key people processes including the HR Induction, maternity, paternity, and performance development processes.
- Regularly analyse and interpret HR management information reports including (but not limited to) sickness, turnover and fee earner financial reporting, raising points of interest as appropriate.
- Maintaining a working knowledge of the HRIS, ensuring that the information on the system is uploaded accurately and promptly.
- Support the delivery of an accurate payroll by ensuring prompt notification of any employee changes such as promotions, maternity/paternity leave, sabbaticals etc.
- Work in collaboration with the HR Advisor responsible for the HR Administration team, on key processes and work in partnership with them to continuously look at ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of such processes.
- Ensure that the values and behavioural expectations permeate through the organisation’s processes, policies, intranet and other literature.
- To take on a Champion role based on a specialist HR topic, identifying and leading on new initiatives to ensure that we are an employer of choice.
- Performance and reward - Assist the HR Operations Manager with the annual salary review process and salary benchmarking.
- Take on and deliver ad hoc HR projects as requested by the HR Operations Manager and Director or People & Culture, to improve business performance including policy writing, process development, intranet and other literature.
