**RSK Biocensus**, an award winning CIEEM company who are a part of the **RSK Group**, is recruiting a tenacious and passionate **Senior Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW)** to join their growing UK ecology team. This role is permanent with **full time** & **part time** work patterns available.

This role will be a hybrid role, with flexible homeworking and client site work.

We are looking for ECoWs to work with clients in **East Anglia and Norfolk**, and the surrounding areas.

As an **Senior** **Ecological Clerk of Works** at **RSK Biocensus** you can expect to get involved with management and delivery of all elements of field surveys, assessment, tender and report writing and project management

**Key Responsibilities**
- Have previous ECoW experience, preferably on large infrastructure projects.
- Have an understanding of a wide range of ecological issues relating to site work, specifically in relation to mitigation and licensing.
- Be competent to undertake ecological site assessments, including carrying out surveys for a range of protected species and frequently encountered invasive species.
- Have experience on developing precautionary working methods and demonstrate a clear understanding of relevant wildlife legislation.
- Be confident to deliver on-site advice and ecological toolbox talks to contractors and engineers.
- Manage their own time to ensure that work is delivered on time and to the required standards.

**Person Specification**
- Have a Degree or Diploma in Ecology / Environmental discipline, or other relevant qualification
- Hold at least one European Protected Species licence, and have experience in surveys for other protected species
- Membership of CIEEM (or other relevant professional body)
- Have previous ECoW experience, preferably on large infrastructure projects.
- Have an understanding of a wide range of ecological issues relating to site work, specifically in relation to mitigation and licensing.
- Be competent to undertake ecological site assessments, including carrying out surveys for a range of protected species and frequently encountered invasive species.
