**The job itself**:
**The outcome of the council’s Total Pay and Reward review means the full-time salary for this position from 1**st** April 2024 will be £33,024 to £35,745. The salary will be pro rata for part time and term time vacancies.**

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic User Experience (UX) designer to help us transform the way residents access council services.

**Your role**:
Working within the Digital Services team, you will be at the forefront of designing new user experiences that are intuitive and engaging, helping to increase customer self-service. We require an excellent problem solver who will champion customer needs and help us drive forwards our ambitious digital transformation plans.

**Flexible working**:
Our team have embraced home working but still regularly come into the office when face to face conversations are really beneficial (for example workshops, meetings and general staff wellbeing/team building). But if you prefer to work from an office that’s not a problem either

Flexitime is also optionally in use across the team if you prefer to manage your time this way. As long as you get the job done, and to the correct standard, we don’t mind whether that’s done at home or in the office.
