We are happy to be recruiting for one of our high-profile utilities clients. They are currently looking for a Senior Customer Insight Analyst to join them for an initial 6 month contract working on a remote basis.

**Job Description Summary**:
My client is undertaking an exciting digital transformation to become the UK's leading energy supplier and being data-led in their decision making is at the heart of the transition to the new energy platform. Understanding the behaviour and attitudes oftheir customer base is critical to building market leading journeys and experiences that both meet their customers' expectations and also achieve their cost-to-serve ambitions. As a Customer Analyst you will be key in transforming their data into actionablerecommendations that drive the strategy of the new energy business.

**Role Overview**:
As a member of the Analytics practice you will design, plan and deliver a roadmap of analysis and data science activity to understand customer behaviours, value and other attributes to support customer strategy development, CX and journey improvement andoptimise business performance.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Develop rich customer insights and understanding through deep analysis of customer behaviours, attitudes, value and other attributes
- Analyse data sets and extract actionable insights
- Collaborate closely with colleagues in Research & Insight to deliver a 360 view of the customer
- Design and develop algorithms turning raw data into useful information
- Create statistical models usable in products or business decision making
- Obtain datasets from other teams, manipulate them based on requirements and ensure results are communicated to relevant teams
- Translate and understand business problems into requirements, and support Customer Strategy development, Customer Engagement activity, CX & journey improvement and business performance (including Marketing Effectiveness)
- Manage and proactively drive a pipeline of Analytics and Data Science activity across a combination of business problem solving and new capability development

**Work Experience & Functional/Technical Skills**:

- Strong applied mathematics and coding skills g. SQL, Python/R and Jupyter notebooks Data visualisation; Tableau, Power BI
- Exposure to DB and data technologies g. MS Azure, MySQL, Kafka, Spark, Power BI, Amazon Athena, Redshift
- Machine Learning; Pattern Recognition Statistics and probability, Signal processing Software development skills (able to prototype algorithms and run models on large data sets e.g. AWS Sagemaker & Jupyter notebook, Databricks)
- Adobe Analytics or equivalent digital analytics experience

**Location**:
This is a remote working role, with a requirement to work from either the London or Windsor office approximately once a month

**Working hours**:
Standard working hours with some flex where required
