The General Hand / Driver will report to the General Manager at FSD Mech Ltd.

**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities and Duties**

Your duties and responsibilities are:

- Goods in & out
- Cutting of materials for issuing to fabricators from approved cutting lists
- Loading / Offloading of lorries
- General cleaning / organising of shop floor
- Checking of deliveries in and out of works
- Checking of stock
- Undertake any general activities to aid the shop floor
- Complete deliveries & collections using the FSD company flatbed truck
- Maintain a high standard of discipline, i.e. excellent time‑keeping, attitude and mannerism to others
- In conjunction with the General Manager follow works programmes
- Maintaining in good condition and ensuring the safety of company assets
- Ensuring that the Company Health & Safety Rules are obeyed
- Attend company training courses where required
- Ensuring that the quality of all activities involved with comply with relevant QA procedures and contract specifications.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience working within an engineering fabrication factory.
- Experience in pipework / steelwork
- Full UK driving licence

Pay - c. £27,000 per annum, depending on experience.
