**Position Overview**

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees all warehouse activities, ensures efficiency in warehouse processes, and maximizes warehouse productivity to meet customer expectations. The warehouse supervisor's responsibilities include H&S, supervising employees, coordinating logístical processes, ensuring the quality of goods, both held in stock and for despatch, and preparing relevant documentation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervising warehouse staff and daily activities including deliveries.
- Health and safety considerations for all reports and ODL as a whole.
- Managing, evaluating, and reporting on warehouse productivity.
- Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.
- Checking orders, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
- Maintaining records, reporting relevant information in a timely fashion, and preparing any necessary documentation.
- Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining safety and statistical records.
- Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse area and equipment.
- Coordinating and maintaining FLT’s and other warehouse equipment.
- Communicating and coordinating with other departments and customers to achieve optimal performance.
- Maintaining an agreed standard of housekeeping.
- Managing the warehouse team’s absence, performance, and conduct
- Studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; providing workable solutions to process breakdowns
- Training, Supervising and appraising staff.
- Ensuring deadlines are met.

**Skills**:

- Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or a similar management position.
- Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management.
- Time management skills and the ability to delegate effectively.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Oracle is desirable but not essential
- FLT Reach Truck License required
- FLT Bendi Truck License required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus scheme
