Youth Worker

Responsibilities:
- Provide mentorship and guidance to youth in a supportive and caring manner
- Plan and facilitate educational and recreational activities for children
- Create a safe and inclusive environment for all participants
- Collaborate with other staff members to develop and implement program curriculum
- Monitor and supervise youth during program activities
- Assist with behavior management and conflict resolution as needed
- Maintain accurate records of participant attendance, progress, and incidents
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children or youth in a mentoring or educational capacity
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices
- Ability to effectively communicate and engage with youth from diverse backgrounds
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to changing program needs and schedules
- Special education experience or training is a plus
