About the role
The Pensions Service is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Systems Team as a Pensions Officer. You will be performance focused and driven to ensure high quality data is received from the Local Government Pension Scheme employers to calculate benefit entitlements to scheme members.

We are a very friendly team and there is plenty of opportunity for development within the Pensions Service.

What will you be doing?
This role sits within the Systems Team and is responsible for the receipt and maintenance of scheme member data from scheme employers and involves analysing and reconciling data received to a high degree of accuracy within set timescales. This fast-paced role is critical to ensure the accurate calculation of pension scheme benefits undertaken with other teams within the Pensions Service.

About you
You’ll need previous experience of working with large volumes of incoming data, preferably within the Local Government Pension Scheme or similar environment. Your excellent analytical and communication skills will be essential in delivering a high quality service to scheme members, employers and the rest of the service.
