Contract role - Kafka Specialist - Remote/Edinburgh - 12 months initial - Inside IR35

We are supporting one of our customers to look for Kafka Specialist as a technical consultant experienced in implementing managed and/or open-source Kafka patterns, designing performance driven and robust topic and partition structures and sink connectors.
- Role: Kafka Specialist
- Location: Remote/Edinburgh (some occasional travel to office)
- Job type: Contract - inside IR35
- Duration: 12 months initial

Kafka Specialist key skills:

- In deep understanding of Kafka architecture, components, and concepts
- Kafka Architecture and Design, Development and Administration
- Good understanding of big data and streaming data concepts
- Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, Scala, or Go
- Familiar with scripting languages such as Bash and Python.

To work with this role, Kafka Specialist needs to hold BPSS or higher security clearance.
