Driver's Mate

The Best Connection Employment Group, on behalf of our Nationwide Client, is currently recruiting for Drivers Mates to join their team in Ebbw Vale. In this role, you will work as part of a dynamic team, assisting the driver in delivering goods to various locations. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the smooth operation of deliveries.

As a Drivers Mate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the driver during the delivery process. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading goods, assisting with navigation, and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of products. You will work closely with the driver to provide excellent customer service and ensure all deliveries are completed on time.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Assist the driver with loading and unloading goods.
Provide support in navigating routes and following delivery schedules.
Ensure the safe and secure transportation of products.
Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries.
Collaborate with the driver to maintain accurate delivery records.

**Hours & Pay**:

- Work 5 out of 7 days, including weekends.

Start times between 05:00 - 07:00.

Pay rate: £10.60 per hour.
