**About the role**

Working hours: Monday-Thursday, 7am-5:30pm. Opportunities for overtime.

**Responsibilities**
- To set / operate CNC machines for production within allocated times
- Prepare and load raw materials onto the machines
- Setup & prove out work to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications
- Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to meet customer expectations
- Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly using inspection equipment such as Vernier calliper, micrometres etc
- Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality
- To ensure that the quality expectations as per drawing and planning are achieved
- To be aware of and observe personal health and safety and that of fellow members

**Requirements**:

- An engineering apprenticeship or multiyear experience in CNC machining
- Skill base in setting & operating CNC lathes & vertical machining centres
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
- A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
- Ability to work self-sufficiently and contribute towards team effort
- Ability to promote positive dialogue with local supervision and support functions
