We Clean Offices have an exciting new opportunity for a Gatehouse Security Operator to join our team on a part-time, permanent basis. Working hours are Saturday and Sunday from 5am to 3pm. Previous experience of gatehouse duties is an advantage but not essential as training is given.

The main tasks include:

- Ensuring only authorised personnel are given access to the site.
- Welcoming, helping and directing those who seek your assistance, identifying potential security threats to security and escalating them appropriately.
- Performing colleague and contractor searches when required in line with the Client’s Company policy.
- Working collaboratively with our Client to identify risk and review CCTV recordings as part of stock loss investigations.

To be considered for the role you will need:

- Resident in the United Kingdom for 5 years for SC clearance.
- A current SIA licence.
- A full 5 years checkable employment history.
- A full driving licence and access to your own personal vehicle because there is no pedestrian access to the site.*
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal communications skills, as you will be required to provide detailed verbal and written accounts of criminal activity.
- You will need to be welcoming and patient with customers, and able to handle conflict in a professional manner.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure.
