Accounts Assistant

An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant in a growing, forward thinking IT consultancy.
On a daily basis you will be assisting with the following key responsibilities and accountabilities;
- Process purchase orders onto internal systems including Excel and Xero
- Liaising with suppliers
- Prompt actioning of invoices
- Working with various departments
- Resolve queries efficiently and accurately
- General administration duties
- Manage and update Xero, update supplier and Finance Department information
**Required Abilities**
Maintaining spreadsheets and liaising with different departments.
A good understanding of Excel is required and attention to detail will be paramount.
It would be preferable if the successful applicant was educated to degree level or has at least one years' experience in an accounts department, but this is not required.
You will be a good communicator with good initiative and will be career driven with a desire to succeed bringing energy and enthusiasm to the role.
Immediate start.
**Job Types**: Full-time or Part-Time considered dependent on required hours.
**Salary**: £17,472-£23,795 per year dependent on age, experience and hours worked
