Are you an aspiring psychologist, counsellor or therapist looking for experience in mental health? Do you want to gain first-hand experience supporting the mental health of children?

The Mental Health Specialist School is located near Kennington, Oxford and is a full-time position starting ASAP. The pupils range from 5 to 18 and have significant developmental trauma, emotional needs and behavioural challenges so the successful MentalHealth/Wellbeing Support Assistant will be supporting each individual's well-being and personal development.

This is an excellent opportunity for the successful Mental Health Assistant to work alongside both Psychologists, Therapists and the SENCO based on-site at school. In this role you will gain first-hand experience with children who have significant needsand learn how to communicate and support them, through the help of trained professionals. This is therefore the perfect opportunity for anyone who wishes to nurture and support the needs of vulnerable young people.

This is a great opportunity for an aspiring educational or cognitive psychologist, therapist, counsellor, teacher or even criminal justice officer

The SEMH School is looking for a Mental Health/Wellbeing Assistant who can bring enthusiasm, passion and experience to the classroom. They are looking for someone who will be proactive and flexible and be able to use their own initiative. Resilience andconfidence to work with challenging behaviour is beneficial
