Job purpose:
To author discs for Arrow and other external clients to the high standards that the company has become known for

You will be working closely with the producers, QC and subtitling.

Key responsibilities:

- To author Blu-ray projects according to client specs
- Calculate bit budgets and encode audio and video to the highest possible standards
- Fix supplied assets and carry out basic editing and audio conforms
- Edit bonus content in collaboration with the producers
- Work closely with QC to ensure encodes are of a high quality, bonus content, subtitles and navigation are free of errors
- Carry out video standards conversions
- Create subtitling proxies
- Assist marketing in creating clips for PR purposes
- Create and upload BBFC screeners

Performance measurement & targets:
Work within deadlines as set by head of QC and Line Manager (Head of TEHMS)

Manage multiple projects at the same time whilst maintaining high standards
