Freight Forwarder

Assisting the operations team to actively and effectively book transport, data entry and liaise with clients to provide excellent service within the freight network.

Growing from London to needing offices in Hong Kong, China, Brazil, Italy, and Manchester. The teams work together to provide comprehensive and experienced services for logistics and freight forwarding across several specialised areas of industries.

**Description**
- Resolve customer queries and solve logistics problems
- Providing quotes and price indications to our clients ensuring the best solution/options are provided to the client
- Providing import/export solutions
- Producing all relevant shipping paperwork and arranging transport and collections
- Planning the most appropriate route for shipments, considering the nature of the goods, cost, transit time, and security
- Process all export requests from client or line manager

**Profile**
- Previous experience in a time dependant logistics environment is essential
- 2 years + experience in freight background is preferred
- Strong experience in Import/Export regulations, ideally with a worldwide remit
- Flexibility, positive and outgoing attitude
- The drive and tenacity to succeed, while delivering excellent customer service
- Ability to commute to Gravesend, Kent
