In this role, you’ll work towards your IT Technician qualification delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
**A Typical Day in the Job**:
- Assist with advice to staff on technical support to meet curriculum requirements
- Help with planning, developing and/or organising equipment, systems, policies and procedures for the specialist technical area
- Assist the teacher with the delivery of technical learning activities and monitor students’ work under the overall supervision of a teacher
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations in relation to equipment and materials used by staff and students
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.**Salary, Hours & Benefits**:
- £10,158 per annum
- Monday - Thursday 8 am - 4 pm, Friday 8 am - 3:30 pm
- 27 days holiday plus bank holidays

**Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge**:
- Excellent IT skills and data input i.e Word, Excel
- Good verbal and written communication skills appropriate to the need to communicate effectively with colleagues, students and other professionals.
- Able to follow directions and work in collaboration
- Enthusiasm and self-confidence
- Ability to work well within a team and independently
- GCSE Grade C/4 in English and Maths or L2 Functional skills equivalent
