**Job Title: Human Resources Advisor**

**Location: Wallingford, Henley on Thames, Slough, Oxford, Reading, Marlow, Maidenhead, Thatcham,**

**Salary: upto £45,000 per annum + Bonus + Benefits/ Hybrid working**

**Key Responsibilities**

**HR Generalist**:

- To provide proactive and efficient HR support to the business.
- To support the Head of HR and wider HR team with people management matters i.e., coach and advise line managers, particularly effective handling of employee relations issues such as grievances, disciplinary, absence management, performance management, successionplanning, restructure.
- To support the HR team in developing and implementing HR strategies, aimed at improving business performance via effective people management.
- To be responsible for day-to-day 'business as usual’ tasks including database and personnel file management, monthly/quarterly HR statistical reports, employee lifecycle administration, internal communications and spreadsheet maintenance and developmentsetc.
- In addition to the LMS system, provide administration support for the HR systems
- To manage ad-hoc projects as required by the Head of HR/Chief Operations Officer
- To provide support with acquisition projects as and when required.
- To deliver solution-driven HR.

**Learning & Development**:
Administration and co-ordination of the company’s Learning Management System:

- Conduct a training needs analysis for all business units i.e. what training is needed / is being requested.
- Plan, Coordinate, schedule and maintain training courses and programs.
- Schedule and coordinate training with line managers and team leads to include location, date/time, materials and attendance.
- Collect, compile and report results of evaluation, attendance and training data and ensure feedback is collated.
- Maintain management training tracking process, enter data, track completion and processes communication and certification to recipients.
- Research training courses and providers as needed, including details, cost comparison, and timelines.
- Work closely and build relationships with trainers/speakers in line with agreed timescales.
- Liaise closely with the finance team to ensure account information is correct and that all invoices are paid on time and financial reports are available for the Head of HR.
- Work with the Head of HR to review and create a refreshed HR onboarding program for new starters.
- Liaise with eLearning providers to source the most cost efficient and value add courses available.

**Experience & Skills**
- Ideally possess a degree in Human Resources Management, or related qualification such as CIPD (full or part qualified) or qualified by experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of generalist HR experience with 2+ years of experience of working within a Learning & Development environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to manage projects.
- Understand the importance of contributing to and working within a successful team.
- Highly organised and methodical
- Solution-focused, with ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- Self-motivated, with a flexible attitude to duties and working hours.
- A team player but capable of working effectively on own initiative with minimum support.
- Have excellent knowledge of MS Office particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of/and ability to use Workday (ideally).
- Experience of drafting and/or delivering training.
- Practically minded, not afraid to roll your sleeves up and demonstrate a "whatever it takes" approach to your work.
- Able to present information in a clear, concise, fluent, structured and unambiguous way.
- A flexible team player, coupled with effective communication and strong problem solving skills
- Strong analytical skills, with a good attention to detail
- Demonstrates ability to work in a self-managed manner, with exceptional organisational, prioritization, and time management ability in order to produce accurate and complete results, meeting deadlines with limited supervision.

- Ability to travel with a clean current driving license.
