**Location: Hybrid London**
A product manager is responsible for the quality of their products. A senior Lead product manager will be expected to use knowledge of user needs and business goals to frame problems and set priorities for the delivery teams. Manage multiple products or a single product that is especially complex, high-risk or sensitive. At this level will have expert product management skills, and be involved in elements of programme management activity. At this level, they will work closely with senior management to provide leadership and direction to all products in a programme or a local product community, maintain the high-level roadmap, be involved in a range of programme management activities in support of the service owner or programme lead.
**As a Lead Product Owner your main responsibilities will be**:
Know how to lead teams in Agile and Lean practices and be proficient in digital products.
Can think of new and innovative ways of working to achieve the right outcomes.
Demonstrate an advanced understanding of design, technology and data principles.
Work with and challenge senior stakeholders.
Ability to adapt the approach depending on the constraints and know how to prioritise and mitigate constraints turning them in to an advantage.
Know how to realise benefits by linking work in progress back to the business case and are able to build business cases based on user needs.
Know how to successfully lead teams through the full product life cycle and can identify which tools and techniques should be used at each stage.
Keep abreast of industry best practice and know how to make operations efficient.
Act as the escalation point for major operational issues and champion operational management across the community.
Can anticipate problems and how to defend against them at the right time.
Know how to build problem solving capabilities in others.
Implement new ways of working and understand what is most important and applicable.
Experienced in meeting the needs of users across a variety of channels.
**You’ll have relevant experience in**:
To understand, represent and prioritise the high level requirements of key stakeholder groups; Loan Agents, Borrowers, DCMS and their managed service provider.
To use this insight to develop the vision, workstreams, roadmaps and project plans to ensure the successful delivery of the Loan Management System.
To oversee and champion the enhancement of current development methods, including the adoption of Agile ceremonies and quality checks.
To maintain project focus on delivery of value through prioritisation of competing requirements and requests which go beyond agreed scope.
Form the vision for your product and engage your teams and stakeholders in the development of that vision over time.
Keep people engaged and informed about the development of the product and promote their uptake.
Represent users throughout the delivery process and use their feedback to inform continuous improvement
Lead the multidisciplinary team in an agile way
