You will be responsible for managing the workflow of Orders through Manufacturing and Distribution process ensuring on time delivery is achieved.

**About The Role**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To manage planning and scheduling related activities within the organisation including create, maintain, and communicate schedules.
- Coordinating with sales teams regarding client orders
- Working with Distribution to support the Issuing and managing of picking requirements in line with production plans and distribution targets to clients.
- Maintaining and updating ERP systems on Order status and production status
- Demonstrate a hands-on approach within scheduling to ensure smooth running of entire production process
- To manage the development and refinement of production planning systems and software, working with Production, Supply chain, logistics and distribution to identify areas of improvement and to manage their implementation.
- Monitor process and supply flow and identify shortages or bottlenecks.
- Ensure the timely placing of purchase orders to support production schedules and sales ordering.
- Support Purchasing and Distribution with stock management.

**Required Criteria**
- Previous Experience in a Planning/Scheduling Role, Preferably within a Manufacturing Organisation
- Excellent Analytical Skills, Advanced MS Excel skills are essential.
- Good understanding of manufacturing and distribution processes
- Excellent Attention to detail
- Experience Working with MRP Systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills and confident communication skills
- Good problem solver
- Flexibility to cope with changing demands and multiple conflicting deadlines.
- Positive ‘can do’ attitude.

- Preferably Experience within a Manufacturing Organisation

**Salary**

£30,000.00 - £32,000.00 per year
