Payroll & HR Administrator
Are you a payroll administrator, with a high level of numeracy and advanced spreadsheet skills, who'd like to transition into a HR role? We may have the perfect opportunity for you.
HR by Tara provides HR support services to small businesses across the Chilterns and South Bucks and we are looking to bring some payroll expertise into our team. In this role, you'll track starters, leavers and changes, run time and attendance reports for our clients, calculate average weekly earnings and holiday pay and look after many other aspects of paying people. You'll then either liaise with the client's accountant or run the payroll yourself, ensuring that all staff are paid correctly each month.
We're looking for someone who loves numbers and calculations, with a very high attention to detail. You'll need to understand all the basics of what makes up gross pay, the gross to net calculation, SSP, SMP, pensions, etc. but training will be available to enhance your payroll knowledge.
We'll also provide you with the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in HR administration - issuing contracts of employment, processing changes of contractual terms, advising managers on maternity entitlements and much more.
This is a flexible hybrid role, based at our office in Princes Risborough and from home. The role is working between 25 and 35 hours per week (must include Mondays and Fridays).
If you're interested then please upload a covering letter (explaining why this job could be right for you) and CV - and make sure you answer all the applicant questions.
