Concrete Finisher

Responsibilities:
We are looking for a squad of concrete finishers to carry out concrete repair work.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
- Crack injection of resin compounds
- Prepare surfaces for concrete pouring by cleaning and leveling the area
- Set up forms and ensure they are properly aligned
- Pour concrete into forms and spread it evenly using various tools
- Smooth and finish surfaces using hand and power tools
- Repair and patch damaged concrete surfaces

**Skills**:To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- Masonry: Knowledge of masonry techniques and materials used in concrete construction.
- Power Tools: Proficiency in operating power tools such as concrete saws, grinders, and drills.
- Hand Tools: Experience using hand tools such as trowels, floats, and edgers for finishing concrete.
- Carpenter: Basic carpentry skills for constructing forms and frames.
- Mechanical Knowledge: Understanding of mechanical systems used in concrete construction.
- Welding: Ability to perform basic welding tasks for reinforcing steel.
- Roofing: Knowledge of roofing materials and techniques for working on elevated surfaces.
- Commercial Driving: Valid driver's license with the ability to operate commercial vehicles as needed.
- Heavy Lifting: Physical strength to lift heavy materials and equipment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract

**Salary**: £18.00-£21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Carpentry: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- CSCS (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Inverness (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Inverness: Relocate before starting work (required)
