A respected market leader within the Bathroom sector, who have experienced rapid growth over the last 10 years are looking to strengthen their team with the key recruitment of an additional Sales Manager to cover **Yorkshire, Manchester, Merseyside, Cheshire**.

**About the Role**:

- Negotiate with middle/senior management of existing and potential business partners, including housebuilders, local authorities, housing associations, contractors, installers, MOD, mobile and pre-fabricated buildings manufacturers, student accommodation,etc, working through national merchants.
- Develop business through new and existing products, back-selling and maximising the benefits of the companies promotional activity, including telemarketing, presentations, promotions, exhibitions, etc.
- Where necessary use their skills to assist the general sales team in their efforts to sell the companies range of products to relevant specifiers and contractors.
- Help to develop the annual sales and marketing plan in conjunction with the National Sales Manager, Product Manager and/or Marketing Manager.

**Relationships and Roles**:

- Liaise closely with our Merchant customer’s contract offices and sales departments.
- Work with the company’s CRM/project tracking system.
- Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.
- Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all departments and especially their colleagues in the sales team.

**About the Individual**:

- A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a similar specification role preferably within the Bathroom, Sanitaryware, Plumbing and Heating sector.
- Must understand the 'cradle to the grave’ process of specification sales.
- Preferably with a strong sales and technical oriented background.
- Experience with all relevant software packages.
- Extensive experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining sales and marketing strategies to meet organiSational objectives.
- Strong understanding of specification customers along with the market dynamics and requirements.
- This is a home-based role but with a willingness to travel and work independently or with other members the sales team.
