ABOUT THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Specialist Support Services team following our first new build Independent Living scheme for many years.

As a new homes officer, you will lead the marketing and promotion of our new scheme and will be the single point of contact for anyone wanting to move working in line with the local lettings policy and the housing allocations scheme.

You will be working with a diverse group of people which includes those with complex needs. You will be supporting residents through the removals and downsizing incentives scheme inline with the under-occupation policy. Identifying specific property requirements from medical referrals and housing need reports.

You will co-ordinate the turnaround of specialist accommodation through the pre-void and void process. Ensuring empty homes are let in the shortest possible time to avoid loss of revenue, liaising with internal teams and external partners.

Complete viewings and lettings of properties, ensuring properties meet lettable standards and capture work with the builders on any issues during the defects period.

You will be providing key performance indicators (KPI’s) and targets for the new build accommodation and provide outcomes from campaigns and benchmarking other new builds.

- excellent record keeping and computer skills (competent in using Microsoft Office IT packages including Excel)
