We have an exciting opportunity for a self-starting individual looking to gain work experience across programme operations and strategy for Super Leagues.

The league coordinator will primarily work on-site at our North London venue to ensure that the league runs smoothly. Must commit to working Saturday and/or Sunday. This role will work closely with the Super Leagues manager.

The coordinator will be responsible for the operational delivery of the league. Key duties and responsibilities may include:

- Communicating with and directing affiliate clubs/coaches to ensure fixtures run to schedule
- Organising referees by assigning rotas and overseeing pay
- Delegating match-day tasks to interns and volunteers
- Managing concerns or complaints raised by coaches, players and parents
- Maintaining inventory of equipment and kit
- Reporting back to Super League Manager to ensure oversight of on-site activities and incidents
- Building relationships to enhance & grow the league
- Promoting a high quality, fun and supportive environment for the development of young players
- Highly organised, with attention to detail
- Excellent time management
- Ability to adapt and solve problems
- Effective and confident verbal communication
- Calm and measured when working under pressure
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Open to feedback with a willingness to learn
- Interest in women’s and grassroots football preferred
- Previous experience working with a league is a plus

Super League London launched in 2021 and currently operates 3 leagues - Girls Super League, a grassroots league for girls aged 8-16; Boys Development League, a U13/U14 league for boys; and Futsal Super League.

The goal of Girls Super League is to create a high-quality football experience for grassroots players within a safe, fun and supportive environment. The league runs on Sundays, with 6 divisions from U10 to U16. GSL is a hub for girls’ football and provides much-needed positive pathways for girls in football.

The Boys Development League is a Saturday league for U13s and U14s, created to meet the increased demand for competitive football for players of this age and ability.

Super League London is one of Bloomsbury Football Foundation’s programmes. Bloomsbury Football, established as a charity in 2018, uses the power of football to improve the lives of young people in London.
