Domiciliary Support Worker

The role of a Community Support Worker is to visit people living in their own homes, and ensure that that they are safe, happy and healthy. Though some people will still need round the clock support, the people you’ll be working with will often be more independent, so your role will involve empowering them to continue to make their own choices.
**Main responsibilities**:
- Supporting the individual in a person-centred way
- Assisting activities of daily living / meal planning/ home tasks/ outings
- Advocating and empowering independence
- Following care plans while adhering to health & safety
- Ensuring all records are completed
- Attend all training and office meetings relating to client need
- To respond positively to changing needs and managing risk effectively
- To attend regular meetings of the team with the person you support and specifically give and receive support and advice to and from other workers in the team
- To undertake such other duties as may reasonably be required.
- This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Ex-Offenders Act alongside exemption from the Equality Act._

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-20 per week
**Salary**: £10.90-£21.80 per hour
