Despatch Controller

**Job description**

Eagle Couriers require an enthusiastic, organised person to work in our busy control department. This position entails allocating collections and deliveries to drivers in most effective way and managing all aspects of drivers' workload. This can be a high pressure environment requiring the ability to deal with a number of things at once in a calm professional manner.
Requirements:
Calm, organised manner with a proven ability to multi task.
Excellent detailed geographical knowledge of central belt area.
Essential
- good communication skills
Proven experience of working in a team
Ability to motivate and manage drivers.
Good keyboard skills
Experience of reporting and using Microsoft packages.
Good telephone manner
Previous experience in same day courier/taxi type environment would be an advantage.

You will be working as part of a small team on a Monday to Friday basis and will be worked into a weekend on call rota after training is complete.

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
