**Who You Are**
- You must be an Advanced Social Work Practitioner with experience in handling a caseload of Service Users with complex needs
- You should have a Grade 8 salary range of £38,890 - £43,857 with the ability to work throughout the city
- The ability to lead, facilitate reflective practice, and aid the management team in developing Social Care workers
- Must demonstrate the ability to handle critical situations and provide leadership to colleagues
- Should be able to operate within a 7-day service timing from 8 am to 10 pm on weekdays

**What the Job Involves**
- You will be directly responsible to the Team Leader and undertake professional supervision as required
- The individual must ensure the council meets its statutory obligations regarding vulnerable adults
- You must manage a complex and varied caseload with supervision, guidance and support
- Responsible for the preparation of written statements for court hearings
- Bear delegated responsibility for team members' supervision and development
- Expected to effectively communicate with colleagues and external sources, while ensuring resource efficiency
- Participate in duty system for emergency referrals where necessary
- Responsible for data entry and upkeeping the data protection act regulations
- Responsible for undertaking 'Best Interest Assessments' and other relevant assessments
- Be committed to continuous learning, present cases at legal hearings and authorise medical fees when necessary
