The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is looking to recruit a Sales Assistant to work at our pop-up catering offer at Anne Hathaway's Cottage over the summer period from July 2023 to September 2023.

We welcome an enthusiastic team member who wants to ensure a visit to the Shakespeare family homes is a memorable one. So if you have a love of hard work, meeting people from all over the world united by their love of Shakespeare’s life, work and legacy then we may have just the job for you.

Day-to-day tasks will involve the production of hot and cold beverages, serving prepared food items, till operation, general cleaning duties, basic food hygiene safety checks and helping to ensure an efficient and profitable operation.

You should be willing and able to work across all areas as we need to be agile and flexible in our work in order to respond to customer demands and staffing needs.

Previous catering and/or retail experience is beneficial. Excellent customer service, an enquiring mind and an outgoing personality are essential.

The pop-up catering offers at Anne Hathaway's Cottage is open seven days a week 10.00am to 4.00pm.
