The company are a successful packaging company who have a very clean shop floor and they want to expand on there current team.
If you are an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer and like the sound of this role then keep on reading.
**As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer this is what you will be doing.**Reporting into the Engineering Manager your main duties will be to support, maintain, improve all plant and machinery on site to aid the manufacturing process. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer you will be expected to use your initiative to help with theOverall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), with the goal of a reduction of downtime due to equipment failure.
- Mechanical engineering qualification or time served apprenticeship
- Project and Development Achievements
- Mechanical skilled engineer - strong problem-solving skills
- Mechanical fault finding and maintenance skills
- Experience of reactive maintenance
- Welding and fabrication skills
- Machining skills - knowledge of using a Lathe and Mill

**The experience you will bring to the team.**
- A time-served Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with at least 2 years' experience of working within a manufacturing environment.
- You will be both versatile and flexible with regards to pro-active & re-active maintenance duties.
- Any previous experience in the food/FMCG industry would be advantageous.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Methodical attitude and an excellent eye for detail.
