Job Title: Kitchen Assistant

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the head chef
- Clean and sanitize kitchen utensils, equipment, and workstations
- Organize and stock ingredients and supplies
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality
- Assist in plating and presentation of dishes
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen environment
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness

Additional Information:

- This position is for a catering company, therefore availability for flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, may be required.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
