We have a position opening for a permanent, part-time (21 hrs./week) Security & Waking Nights Mental Health Support Worker to join our team based in central Bristol. The post holder will also be required to do two nightly rounds by car during shifts (Bristol only) and may occasionally be required to cover our site in Weston super Mare.

**A full, clean driving licence is essential for the position. - **We have company cars for work-based travel, but also pay a competitive mileage allowance for staff using their own car for work trips (by prior agreement).

This position is for a part-time permanent contract at 21 hrs. per week. - However, this role could also be worked under a bank contract (casual/zero hrs.), if wished, or there may be an option to work overtime/do extra shifts to provide cover for staff annual leave or sickness, as and when available.

Post holders will generally cover 2 nights per week (9:45 pm - 8:15 am) on a 2-weekly rolling rota: Monday & Thursday nights in week 1, and Tuesday & Wednesday nights in week 2. - Post holders will also be required to work occasional day-time hours, e.g. for team meetings, supervisions & training.

The main duties of the waking nights role will include monitoring CCTV screens, driving by our sites 1-2 times throughout the night for a security/welfare check, being available for any overnight emergencies, as well as associated tasks such as cleaning and paperwork.
