We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our friendly and vibrant nursery as a Room Manager.

You would be responsible for ensuring the smooth day to day running of your unit, supporting our children, families, and staff.

Based on Barnes Lane in Sarisbury Green, Woodlands have lots of resources for the children, large spaces inside as well as several large spaces outside all to encourage our children to explore, learn and thrive.

The Woodlands Management has a very open-door policy; we are there to listen to your ideas and encourage you to try them out. You are the ones who are in control of the rooms and the setting, all we ask is that you are reflective when thinking of ways to enhance the children’s experiences.

**The role**
- Manager the staff working in your room
- Being a key person to a group of children
- Be an effective role-model to children
- Deliver rich learning opportunities through interaction and play
- Working within a team to support the children and their families
- Helping each other in creating an enabling environment for the children
- Building positive relationships with all children
- Ensuring the children are safe and always feel safe and secure
- Have worked in a nursery environment, as a key person for a minimum of 2 years
- Level 3 Childcare Qualification
- Experience working within an Early Years setting
- A good understanding of the EYFS
- A positive and friendly ‘can do attitude’
- Good people skills
- Have the skills to work with and support the staff within your team.

**Salary**: From £22,210.24 per year
