**Job Title** - Fuel Controller

**Location** - Halesowen

**Hours** - 8am-5.30pm Mon-Fri

**Salary** - £25-28K

We are currently looking for a Fuel Controller to join our client's brand-new fuel desk, located at their depot in Halesowen.

In this new role for the business, you will be the first point of contact for a varied customer base and will support the Fuel Manager in all aspects of day-to-day operations.

The main parts of the role include:

- Overseeing a fully managed fuel service for their generator fleet
- Providing all clients with the same excellent levels of customer service throughout the fuel management process
- Ensure fuel delivery schedules are fully administered and maintained
- Monitoring our telemetry systems to optimise delivery efficiency and anticipate forthcoming demand
- Processing fuel deliveries using rental software package MCSrm
- Arranging fuel deliveries with third party suppliers, creating and updating purchase orders
- Organising efficient daily logistics for tanker deliveries
- Processing fuel contracts with attention to detail in preparation for invoicing
- Work closely with a team of colleagues to ensure all customer requests and orders are delivered to a high standard

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Have the ability to prioritise a variety of matters, as and when they arise, and deal with them in a professional and timely manner
- Basic transport/ route planning experience
- Can demonstrate high levels of both oral and written communication skills
- Have the capacity to work autonomously and to prioritise workload to meet strict deadlines
- Able to thrive when both working as part of a team and as an individual
- Is proficient with all Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Outlook etc) with strong typing and general computer skills
