We are a busy pub in Brinsworth. Weekends are fast paced with plenty going on to keep you busy, whilst weekdays are a little more relaxed.

We are looking for customer focused, reliable, hard-working and passionate individuals to join our bar team. We want you to be a team player and have good customer service skills. You don’t need any bar experience as we will teach you all that.

As a member of the bar team you will have to work hard and fill in and help out when necessary as the bar can get very busy at peak times.

Typical responsibilities may include:

- Working in a busy environment;
- Welcoming customers;
- Taking and preparing orders for drinks and snacks accurately and efficiently;
- Making recommendations that increase the customers experience;
- Processing payments;
- Keeping the bar area clean and tidy;
- Adhering to all alcohol serving regulations;
- Handling cash transactions and operate a cash register;
- Building a great rapport with customers.

Skills and Experience:
**To be a member of our bar team you must be at least 18 years old as it involves the sale of alcohol.**

Previous experience in a busy pub/bar setting and knowledge of changing barrels is preferred.

Whether you have experience or not you must have
- Familiarity with basic math skills for cash handling purposes;
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers and team members;
Your working pattern will vary from week to week. Friday, Saturday and Sunday are our busiest days when we open at 12noon and close at midnight. The reaminder of the week we open at 4pm and close at 11pm. There may be occasions when you are required to work outside those hours, for instance if we have a funeral or other event which requires opening the bar earlier or closing the bar later.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £7.50-£11.00 per hour
