The school have a higher than national average EAL and SEN student numbers, therefore the Head Teacher has successfullydeveloped a team who can deal with every eventuality they may face with confidence and structure. THE POSITION
This Deputy Headteacher position involves improving the schools standards and aims with high academic targets in mind. One of your main responsibilities will include understanding how to progress further through the instruction of a Headteacher and supportingInclusive Teaching practices throughout the school. In general, you will be joining a popular school that is well-resourced with the latest modern teaching technologies that include a dedicated music and arts room, with modern facilities. THE IDEAL APPLICANT
To be considered for this role you must be an accomplished Deputy Headteacher who has experience of working in an inner city school and a history of working in schools where pupils with EAL requirements and those with Special Educational Needs are at a highlevel. You need to demonstrate the expertise to help drive up standards and keep teaching effective and organised. You will have the skills, knowledge and attributes to deal with and effectively manage a varied workload which your role entails. The Headteacherwants you to join their team with a belief in the positive effect high expectations can have, leading by example and setting ambitious targets for themselves and other around them.
