Johnston Oils Ltd is a family business established in 1965. We have an excellent opportunity for a Fleet Administrator to join our growing transport department at our head office in Bathgate.

We are a company that believes in helping people stay warm and keep moving by supplying Kerosene, Diesel and Gas Oil which we have been doing for over 50 years. We have Depots all around Scotland and the North of England.

The Fleet Administrator will be responsible for maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection and scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency, among other duties.

**Fleet Admin Responsibilities**:

- Maintaining vehicles for deliveries.
- Maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection
- Ensuring strict servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime and maintain schedules
- Maintain and develop relationships with third party maintenance providers.
- Scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational compliance
- To help co-ordinate the day-to-day running of the Tankers with respect to operational, technical, personnel, accounting and reporting to the transport team
- Liaising with all depots within the Company necessary for the support of the tankers under their control
- Advising the Transport Manager as required with respect to periodic financial reporting, cost controls, budgetary revisions and updates etc..
- Projects as assigned by Senior Management.
- Supervising the performance of surveys, studies or analyses relating to possible alterations, changes or improvements to pollution prevention systems, equipment and procedures.
