Driver's Mate

We are currently working with a leading waste management company who would like someone to join their team as a Driver's Mate.

As a Driver's Mate, you will play a crucial role in supporting our drivers in the efficient collection and disposal of waste materials. You will be working with a small team travelling around the region collecting recycling.

**Job description**:

- Your primary responsibility will be to assist the driver in navigating the routes, loading and unloading waste to ensure a smooth and timely waste collection service.
- Help with the loading and unloading of waste materials onto the vehicle.
- Collaborate with the driver to navigate the designated routes and assist in the safe and efficient collection of waste materials from residential areas.

**Pay and Working hours**:

- 7am-finish
- Part time flexible hours
- £10.42p/h

**Working requirements**
- Previous experience in being a drivers mate
- The role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- The position requires occasional heavy lifting and physical exertion.
- Boots and Hi-Vis and gloves are required
