Carpet/floor Cleaner

Futures Recruitment is delighted to be working with a local Chichester company who are seeking a Carpet/Floor Technician to join their team.

You will be visiting clients in their homes and business premises providing:

- Carpet cleaning
- Upholstery and fabric cleaning
- Rug cleaning
- Stone floor restoration and polishing
- Tile & grout cleaning
- Stain removal techniques
- Application of products

Experience of one or more of these services is preferred. Experience in the floor restoration or cleaning industry would be helpful but not essential as full training provided.

Predominantly cleaning carpets and upholstery, but will be required to turn your hand to other areas of the business whenever required such as rug cleaning and hard floor cleaning.

You’ll need to have the following attributes
- Carpet cleaning experience and/or upholstery cleaning experience
- Smart in appearance
- Physically fit - role offered is a manual job which includes lifting and carrying equipment as well as lifting and moving furniture.
- Able to work unsupervised and use your own initiative
- Great communication skills.
- Attention to detail with a strong work ethic.
- Motivated and driven by results.
- Desire to exceed expectations.
- Honest and professional in conduct.
- Flexible approach.
- Solutions orientated.
- Legally able to drive a 3.5t van
- Keen to go the extra mile when needed
- Reside in the West Sussex area or within a 15-mile radius of Chichester

This is a permanent position predominantly Monday to Friday but a flexible approach to working hours is needed as our work involves travel during working day and occasional evening and weekends.
