We are a leading manufacturer of bespoke furniture. As a result of our expansion we are currently seeking a trainee furniture maker to join our team.

This is a trainee position and full training will be provided.

Responsibilities of the role:

- To assemble bespoke furniture to very high standards
- To keep the workshop tidy and organised, including maintaining the tools and equipment
- To ensure stock levels in the workshop are kept under control
- Sanding, staining and oiling furniture by hand
- Work to tight deadlines to meet the demands of the business whilst maintaining quality

control
- Follow job sheets accurately to ensure a quality product is produced for the customer
- High attention to detail
- Can work individually and in a team
- Can maintain a clean and professional working area and environment.

Essential requirements for the role:

- Some experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- Driving license. You will be required to drive the company van occasionally
- Be physically fit due to the requirement of lifting and handling goods
- Very high attention to detail.

Due to the location of our workshop, reliable transportation to and from work is needed.
