Physics Graduate Teaching Assistant - PAID SCHOOL DIRECT OPPORTUNITY
Are you a graduate with a Physics related degree, looking to gain experience supporting Physics through KS3 & KS4?
Would you like to learn the ropes and gain knowledge of school life in preparation for a teacher training programme in September 2023?
This role is a two year opportunity with a paid, school direct scheme opportunity in the second year.
** Physics Graduate Teaching Assistant
** £70 - £80 per day
** Immediate start - July 2023
** School based in Sandwell
** Supporting Science through KS3 & KS4
The Person
A graduate with a Science related degree, strong communicational skills who is very personable, enthusiastic and reliable. Some form of experience working with children is desirable, but not essential. A graduate who wishes to gain experience this academic,prior to starting a teacher training programme in 2023.
The Role
Science Teaching Assistant, supporting attainment levels and helping bridge the gap between under-achievers and their peers. Supporting Science students on a 1:1 and small group basis, taking them out of the classroom and providing them with focussed supportaround the English curriculum.
The School
Based in Sandwell, this ‘Good’ secondary school has a high achieving Science Department. 78% pass rate for Science at GCSE. The Headteacher is a strong believer of supporting his staff and providing them with the best opportunities to add value to the school,the graduate and of coursethe children.
