Treasurer @ Creative

**Our partner is a cultural venue dedicated to young people’s creativity in Birmingham, with a mission to engage under-represented youth in one of the top 10% most deprived and diverse communities in the UK.**

They are seeking a Treasurer to oversee financial reporting to the Board of Trustees, including preparing and presenting quarterly financial reports. The Treasurer will also support the board with budget planning, creating and communicating financial goals to key stakeholders and utilising the work of their bookkeeper to enhance financial planning.

An exciting opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified accountant, passionate about young people and arts & culture.

Trustee meetings take place quarterly, and the Treasurer will need to set aside time to produce financial reports and work with the bookkeeper in the lead up to meetings and the annual accounting period. Much of the role can be done remotely, but ideally the Treasurer will be able to travel to Birmingham for meetings.

**Please note that this is a volunteer role and there is therefore no remuneration**
