Here at SUEZ recycling and recovery, we are looking to recruit HWRC Recycling Officers to support our objectives to increase recycling and reduce waste across the Greater Manchester region.

As a key member of our Operations Team, your role will be to encourage positive recycling behaviour, as part of a wide reaching and varied programme developed with our customers.

**The role**

Flexible locations across Greater Manchester, working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 8am-6pm during Winter, 8am-8pmduring Summer.

**What will I be doing?**
- Ensure all SUEZ’s recycling initiatives are being followed and implemented to the fullest.
- Help develop further recycling initiatives and manage the implementation.
- Work closely with offtake market, to build relationships with the goal of increasing input materials to those off takers.
- Train and coach site operatives in correct waste segregation
- Monitor and review sites recycling performance.
- Develop standard operating procedures and roll out to all team
- Complete Verification checks on all Recycling Procedures.

**What are the Requirements?**
- Investigate new recycling schemes/ offtakes
- Keep up to date with best practice across wider SUEZ and all relevant legislation
- Develop recycling report for each region of the contract
- Report of current and future recycling developments
- Investigate potential drops in performance by a site by site basis
- Develop literature / site signage that best encourages recycling
- To manage, monitor, improve and expand existing schemes, collection services and facilities, E;g skip layout, number of recycling banks
